One of the biggest challenges I face is balancing journalism with academic life. Deadlines for articles often collide with deadlines for assignments. Yet, in that struggle lies the joy of discipline—it pushes me to manage time and sharpen my focus.
Another challenge is dealing with sensitive issues. Writing about campus politics, student protests, or administrative decisions is never easy. It requires courage to stay neutral while still giving space for every voice. But when a story sparks dialogue, I realize its true impact.
The greatest joy, however, comes from connecting with people. Journalism has given me access to countless stories—some inspiring, some heartbreaking, but all real. Each interview, each published piece, and each reader’s feedback reminds me why I chose this path.
Campus journalism is not a glamorous role; it is a responsibility. But it is also a privilege—to witness history being made in classrooms, auditoriums, and streets of our university, and to tell those stories with honesty.
